PADI scuba Diver course

The PADI Scuba Diver course is a entry level certification that is perfect for vacationers here in Bali or people who only plan to dive a couple of times a year. As a sub-programme of the PADI Open Water Diver Course, the PADI Scuba Diver certification allows you to get a scuba diving qualification quickly and easily by minimising time constraints.

With this scuba certification you can dive to 12 metres under the direct supervision of a PADI professional on your next vacation or diving trip anywhere in the world. This diving programme is a wonderful opportunity to explore the underwater world with the comfort and safety of having an experienced guide with you at all times.

During this diving certification course you will use the PADI Open Water Diver Manual and Video through the online PADI eLearning, this minimises the amount of study time required here in Bali. The knowledge and skills you learn are just the beginning of an exciting array of courses and programmes that await you.

PLEASE NOTE: eLearning is online learning from PADI, designed specifically for computer use.  If you want to do the online learning from a mobile device please let us know as this requires different software called PADI Touch.

Credit earned in this programme can be used toward the Open Water Diver certification. The Open Water Diver Course uses the same materials as the Scuba Diver course, so already you are on your way to continuing further dive adventures.

We can even run the pool sessions at your hotel (with their permission) or villa (if it’s large enough) in Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Canggu, Sanur, Nusa Dua and may other locations in Bali.  Ask for details.

NOTE:  Divers must be 15 years old or older to participate in the Scuba Diver Course. If aged 10 – 14 years old, they can do the Junior Scuba Diver Course.  This automatically become the full certification when the diver turns 15 years old.

Students must be in good health to take the course and are required to complete a brief medical questionnaire.  Click here to view the medical form.  If you answer ‘yes’ to any of the questions on the first page, you will need to visit your doctor and obtain medical approval before registering for the course.

You need to allow 18 hours to pass before flying after diving! So if flying the following day, make sure it is after 7am.
